Improve Semen Quality

To start, a multivitamin is probably better than 4 or 5 random ones.

Vitamin E: Improves sperms impregnating ability (food sources *Wheat Germ,Whole Grains and uncooked nuts) 150 - 300 IU of Vit E daily. Do not take excess amounts of vitamin E.

Zinc: Plays a role in the development of healthy sperm. A zinc deficient diet will lower sperm count and yeast. Even marginal zinc deficiencies can cause sperm counts to drop below the point of technical sterility. When given zinc supplements, counts came back to normal. Also helps with sperm motility

Vitamin C: Men taking 1000 mg daily have been shown to have significant improvements in all 3 areas that matter so much: motility, viability and number. Reduces sperm clumping also. (Food Sources * asparagus, blackberries, broccoli, cantaloupe, cauliflower, chinese cabbage, grapefruit, grapefruit juice, kale, kiwi fruit, kohlrabi, mangoes, mustard greens, orange juice, peppers, raspberries, red cabbage, strawberries, tangerines, tomatoes, tomato juice) Vitamin C is safe to take in any amount.

Vitamin A: Healthy sperm production. A study of vit A deficient rats showed degeneration and loss of sperm cells. Within 6 weeks of Vit A treatment new sperm appeared. (** The best source of Vitamin A is beta carotene, the substance in which the body can manufacture Vitamin A as needed. Supplements carrying beta carotene can be purchased at a natural foods store. Apricots, aspargus, broccoli, cantaloupe, carrots, cherries, cress, dandelion greens, mangoes, peaches, peas, romaine lettuce, sweet potatoes, spinach tomatoes, winter squash. trace mineral may be as important as zinc for the production of sperm. (whole grains, eggs)
